Univision’s Uforia and Napster Announce Audio Innovation Partnership

Univision’s Uforia, the Home of Latin Music, and Napster today announced a partnership to drive and discover innovative ways to deliver audio across digital platforms. Through this collaboration, Uforia unveiled a newly enhanced and redesigned Uforia app that is “Powered by Napster,” creating the ultimate streaming destination for Hispanic America. The app is part of the recently expanded Uforia brand, the biggest Latin music media platform in the country, including the nation’s No. 1 Hispanic radio network and the largest Latin music concert footprint. The partnership was announced at a joint press conference at SXSW, an annual event best known for its conference and festivals that celebrate the convergence of the interactive, film and music industries.

The newly enhanced Uforia app now offers music fans seamless profile registration and the opportunity to enjoy a more compelling experience listening to live radio, music playlists, and in the Spring 2019 podcasts in one easy-to-use service.

The Uforia app has extensive playlists based on genres, moods, activities, and themes, and boasts an immersive UX design and geo-localized experience. Additionally, the service features Uforia’s talented DJs and influencers as well as curated content from Univision’s top-rated music tentpoles.
Univision recently announced a major rebrand for Uforia, bringing together the company’s vast music and audio properties under the Uforia brand which includes an extensive portfolio of Univision’s 58 top-rated, owned and operated local radio stations, plus 89 affiliates, its digital audio footprint, experiential and TV integrations.
