TIDAL: New Streaming Service Making Waves
We here at Jamvana are extremely proud to announce our new partnership with TIDAL. Tidal is the wave of the future in streaming, breaking out with the first streaming service to offer FLAC 1411 kbps High Fidelity, CD quality audio, as well as a library of over 75,000 HD music videos, and editorials that are religiously accurate from savvy music journalists. These journalists create a magazine feel providing album presentations, playlists, music articles and interviews with some of the biggest artists in the world. Quality is a way of life for Jamvana, so we love that it is the main focus at TIDAL and we finally have the availability to listen to lossless quality on the go or at home.
As with other streaming services, you can add your content from any other streaming service for ease of access to all of your music. The option to sync music to play offline is available as well. In addition, TIDAL offers its very own music ID feature to tag those new tracks you start to vibe to. Once tagged, play at will. TIDAL is also making a splash with availability, offering over 30 platforms to access the app. Including: Apple and Android, as well as PC, while also adding integration in HiFi network players such as: Sonos, Bluesound, Linn, Auralic, Mirage, Squeezebox, Amarra sQ, McIntosh, Wadis, Electrocompaniet, Meridian, and more.
There are 2 different options to choose from when selecting TIDAL, but really it’s a no brainer. You have your single monthly subscription either way, and first is the $12.99 per month standard version that includes 96 kbps quality which is just OK. Then you have your $25.99 per month version that gives you the FLAC 1411 kbps lossless sound streaming at over 4X the competition’s bit rate, which is awesome. Both versions include over 25 million songs, 75,000 HD videos all ad free, and TIDAL’s editors hand pick new albums and songs from every genre daily. On top of it all, it has a really cool and easy format. As with pretty much any service, you have your audio search and the music ID feature mentioned above, but also a couple of other options that are fun. For instance, the TIDAL Rising tab, which has been created to give artists on the verge of making it the exposure they need to make it to the next level. There is also a TIDAL Discovery tab bringing you the newest of the new, once again giving artists a chance to break out. Thats what TIDAL and Jamvana are all about, supporting the artists. There are also 12 preset playlists, 21 preset genres, and the HD video tab. What’s more, it hasn’t been tested yet, but we are expecting to be able to stream TIDAL on multiple devices (think Netflix).
We at Jamvana fully believe that streaming is the future, and TIDAL is the future of streaming. TIDAL was built to support the artists, help create a more sustainable music industry, and deliver the very best sound and video quality. TIDAL is brought to us by the good people at Aspiro who’s vision is to, “be the leader in providing world-class music entertainment through content and technology.” That sounds like something Jamvana wants to be a part of for sure, so we are extremely excited to be teaming up with such innovative people. There is a 7 day free trial for TIDAL too, so if you’re ready for what you’ve been missing in sound quality, check it out today at TIDAL.com. Cheers from your team at Jamvana!
