Tchami Shares Five New Remixes of “After Life”
Enigmatic house head Tchami has had a whirlwind 2015 so far, dividing his time between studio work and holding it down on the road. In March, the Frenchman premiered his single, “After Life,” and the full EP is expected soon. In the meantime, Tchami lined up a buzzed-about cast of remixers to overhaul “After Life,” and the results have now been revealed.
The “After Life” recruits include breakout star Jauz and the firing studio team of DJ Snake & Mercer, with dependable reworks from both corners. However, it’s the work of three lesser-known names – Dutch whiz San Holo, mystery producer Malaa, and Parisian production team Point Point – that demands attention. You can decide on your favorite interpretation below.
Tchami’s summer schedule includes return trips to Ibiza for Cream at Amnesia and Martin Solveig’s residency at Pacha. He’s also locked in for Saturday, August 1 at HARD Summer in LA, joining The Weeknd, the Chemical Brothers, Dillon Francis, Porter Robinson and more. We’d guess that hearing some version of “After Life” is a pretty sure bet.
