First up, Swedish dynamo Alesso will touch down in New York City following the May 26 release of his debut album on Def Jam, Forever. The producer has already delivered a summer anthem with the Roy English-featuring “Cool,” which follows a string of hits like “Heroes (We Could Be)” and “Under Control” alongside Calvin Harris and Hurts. Alesso’s no stranger to main stages, so he’ll be in his element at Electric Zoo.

The next headliner out of the blocks is trailblazing electronic duo the Chemical Brothers. The rave originals have a new album incoming, Born in the Echoes – their first in five years. It’s rare to see the Chems at a US festival, so expect a blinding new audiovisual show. You’re also guaranteed to hear the lead single “Sometimes I Feel So Deserted” at festival volume, plus all those block rockin’ classics that made them legendary.

Rounding out this first announcement is one of dance music’s most fanatically followed trios,Above & Beyond. The Anjunabeats bosses will make their first trip back to New York since taking over Madison Square Garden for ABGT100.

Starting with these three names, Electric Zoo will roll of two to three artists per day until the full lineup drops in mid-May. Watch followmetonewyork.com and the #FollowMeToNewYork hashtag to find out who else is headed for Randall’s Island. Tickets are available now.
