Calvin Harris and Disciples Drop the Track You’ll Hear All Summer
Scottish hitmaker Calvin Harris and London-based production team Disciples have dropped their new collaboration, “How Deep Is Your Love,” and it’s steadily tallying up the plays on YouTube.
The track would fit right in to one of those YouTube playlists with names like ‘This is UK Dancefloor 2015,’ complete with house keys, a crisp, rubbery bassline, clean pads and the vocals of Norwegian songwriter Ina Wroldsen at front and center. (Wroldsen cowrote the track with Disciples – as they shouted out on Twitter – although her name isn’t mentioned on the official Vevo upload.)
For the uninitiated, Disciples is a trio from South London who scored a UK hit with “They Don’t Know.” They’ve also created slick remixes for Coldplay, Azari & III, Chromeo and John Newman, to name just a few. They’ll join Harris at a couple of dates this festival season, including the Glasgow Summer Sessions on August 30. Get into “How Deep Is Your Love”
